The Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) is an integrated bill payment system in India, offering interoperable and accessible bill payment services to customers through a network of agents, enabling multiple payment modes, and providing instant confirmation of payment. It was developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and is regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

FAQ For BBPS:

  1. Log in to Pavathi app/website. We use Bill Avenues API (Bharat Connect platform).
  2. Enter the biller category, name, and bill reference number.
  3. Verify the amount shown in the bill.
  4. Review bill details and enter the payment amount.
  5. Confirm the transaction.
  6. Click on the Pay button.
The Pavathi platform connects Billers, payment service providers, and customers. When a customer initiates the payment, the information goes to the Bharat Connect Central Unit. Then, this information is sent to the relevant provider, and then to the Biller, who updates your account and sends confirmation. for all errors Pavathi is not responsible. we only use BBPS services, We are only service provides, Refund not available.
If you erroneously send a payment to the wrong party or wrong biller or double pay or send a payment for the wrong amount (for instance a typographical error at your end) your only recourse will be to contact the Merchant /Party to whom you have sent the payment and ask them to refund the amount. We will raise a service ticket if available from their end, but can’t ensure the refund. PAVATHI will not reimburse you or reverse a payment that you have erroneously made.
